Dr Chris Lauf BDSc (QLD)
Dr Lauf loves dentistry, technology and how they can make a positive difference in people’s lives through better health and oral functioning. He was born and raised in Sydney at Bondi Beach but moved up with his family to Queensland, where he completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland. He met the girl of his dreams and married her, having two daughters, a dog named ‘Elvis’ and two cats, not entirely of his choosing (the pets, that is). When he’s not working, he loves camping and travelling around Australia, snow skiing, reading and spending time with his favourite people.
Dannielle Brougham. Bachelor of Oral Health (Adelaide)
Oral Health Therapist (dual qualified dental therapist & hygienist)
Brisbane born and raised, Dannielle Brougham graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor in Oral Health in 2015. She brings with her a broad range of skills and experience in both dental practice management and other clinical aspects having worked in the dental industry since 2003 in a variety of different support staff roles. Dannielle is a country girl at heart having lived and worked all over regional Queensland including Cairns, Townsville, Emerald and Rockhampton.
Highlighting her dedication and passion for all things dental, her pursuit of happiness later landed her at South Australia’s renowned University of Adelaide School of Dentistry to further her professional studies and joins us now as our Oral Health Therapist / Hygienist. She is kind natured and her avid instincts for adventure have taken her to Papua New Guinea many times with YWAM medical ships as a volunteer to provide dental care to those less fortunate living in remote jungles of a developing country. Just ask her about some of her humanitarian aid work stories, as she’d love to share them with you too.
After many years living away from Brisbane, Dannielle is now happy to be home with close family and friends to share in her passions for good food & wine and interior design.
What is an Oral Health Therapist?
Oral Health Therapists (dual qualified dental therapists and hygienists) are registered dental practitioners who provide primary oral health care for children and adults. This includes examining and diagnosing dental decay and gum diseases and providing routine dental treatments. They also work to promote oral health and provide preventive dental services among individuals and the broader community.
As an oral health therapist, Dannielle Brougham is the perfect dental practitioner for you if you are simply searching for someone to perform:
- scale and clean; especially if it has been many yrs since you’ve received one
- whiten and brighten your teeth
- introduce positive dental experiences to your children or
- help you with your gum disease
